Game Guide: Seven Knights (SENA) Monthly and Weekly Quests

Hey, wasssup guys! Thanks for following all my posts. Today, I will be sharing some tips and guides on questing. Things that look simple may actually be the hardest decision and bring unpredictable dilemma to us. For that reason, I decided to talk a little on questing.

As usual, here's a little routine update on myself in SENA.

RNG in sena summoning continue to hit me like a truck. I always make sure to summon once or two every week just to check on the RNG.

P.S.: I forgotten to screenshot the summon. I will do it next time. Lol

Arena wise, seems like RNG was pretty decent to me when I decided to PVP.

Also, when you reach World 9, your character background in the lobby changes too! Awesome

Not too long ago, our month and weekly quests got reworked. It's a great update to new players and a good boost to old players. In the weekly quests, by completing 50 Arena runs/ week, we get a free equipment upgrade crystal which automatically +1 to your weapon or armors. This is great to cut down on gold when upgrading 6 star equipments.

Next, in the monthly quest section, we have a free Leah and Fina every month. Wow! They are actually giving us Fina?! There is a catch to it though. Fuse two 6star heroes to clear it. That's not too hard isn't it. Especially the reward is a Transcender Fina that costs 150 topazes and you will be getting one just by completing quests.

To players who cannot see the value in Fina, let me remind you that, rare 5 star heroes such as Alice and Aragon, you can max these 2 units to level 40 with Fina. Also, Fina relatively cuts a total of 6 3star elements with auto-transcend. What else can you ask for as monthly reward? They are cutting your slacks with the reward! Don't be lazy and get that Fina!

Cost-comparison

1 Fina = 150 topazes = RM 600 (RM400 = 100 topazes) = SGD 200 = 6800 Philippine Pesos = USD 150! That's how valuable a Fina is, my dear readers!

The other monthly quests reward is Leah. Leah is the unit material that allows us to unlock an extra equipment slow on any unit.
Leah costs 50 topazes and they are also giving it free.
Not to mention, the quests just require us to do 50 Castle Rush/ month. Yes, just 50! It is that simple. 3 Castle Rush/ day. You do it for 17 days! That's just 2 weeks+. Not too hard isn't it. Especially when all you need is to leave your Sena on Auto for 1 hour/ day, that is also if you can last for 20 minutes/ round. Not to mention, 50 CR (Castle Rush) points equates to 3 random elements.

This is what I call as saving time and resources by utilizing resources effectively.

You do not need high IQ or good mathematics education to even know how valuable these 2 Monthly Quests are. To slackers complaining that they don't have enough time to clear these quests, STOP BEING A WHINER! Is your life even busier than President of United States that you do not have a mere 1 hour to let your phone runs on auto mode?! Shame on you for being lazy. You are technically throwing a total of RM 900 ( 300SGD/ 10200 Pesos/ USD 225) per month into the drain! Shame on you.

FAQ:

How should I clear these quests in order? I am lost and not sure which to focus.

Some of the Weekly Quests change every week but 50 Arena runs and clear all daily quests remain the same every week.

Rank Up a hero x2!

If you are less active, fodders will be the issue here. So, with the revamped Auto-Repeat System, we run it on Weekends during Hot-Time/ On Fridays (pretty sure most of us are free on Friday Nights during Hot-Time) with the keys we saved up. Rank up 2 Heroes = you may rank up elements or heroes to 4 stars or 3 stars respectively. Even if you are lacking on elements, pretty sure you get a minimum of 100 rubies/ week from arena unless you are below Gold Tier, then something need to be done to your Arena Units. Read my guide on 'Prioritizing Heroes'   and 'Optimizing Resources' to fix your Arena Team.

Hero Fusion x2!

Just do 3 star heroes fusion x2 if you just opting for clearing the quests easily. I personally prefer to fuse 2 4star heroes instead as the chances are higher to hit rare 5star heroes or getting Lord Or Sena as the Hero pool is slightly smaller in 5stars.

Rank Up an Item x2!

This is not too difficult as we can rank up item easily to clear this quest. Just rank up 2-3 star items if you do not have much items. Buy items from Shop for 10honor / item.

Monthly Quests

Get a 6 star hero through fusion x2!

This is the challenging part. What I usually do is, the last week of the month, that is when I will upgrade 5star units to +5 and keep them for following month. Those who do not have enough 5stars, you can fuse 4stars to 5stars. To clear this, we need 8  4star heroes as fodder to obtain 4  5star heroes.

Those finding it hard to get fodders:

To clear this, I suggest to at least get 20 rubies/ day from farming so that we have a total of 600 rubies/ month. That is enough for 2x 250 rubies summoning. We may get a minimum 1-2 4star heroes with other 3 stars as fodders. Use 1-2stars units to upgrade 3star units.

3star units to upgrade on 4-5star units. This is to get the minimum 25% exp boost from a single unit for maximum efficiency in fusion and upgrading. The lowest you can go for is 12% exp boost per unit. Never go below that as it is not worth.

That's all for day. Look forward for my next upcoming post. Post your questions in the chat box if you are looking for suggestions on specific issues. Cheers and Happy Gaming.

Game Guide: Seven Knights (SENA) New Patch Update 1.0.43

Hey guys! Wazzzup!

Welcome to World 9 Patch Update!

Yes! Yes! I know! This is such a big patch and a meta changing patch. Some of you may wonder "how come?". Let me explain my thoughts regarding it and depending on the gravity of the situation, this patch may actually hurt Free-2-Play players in the early stage.

Before we go on, I am not sure if anyone of you guys had the same issue especially Android Users. Once I updated SENA from Google Playstore, I encountered this issue.
I got stucked in the old patch login screen and unable to proceed after the maintenance. There was no loading icon. You cannot click on anything.

My solution to this issue will be to go to your 'Application Manager' under the settings. Look for 'Seven Knights' icon and press 'clear data'. Patch your entire Seven Knights again. This should work.

Now, World 9 is unlocked.

We get new heroes: Phoenix, Dragon, Soi and Feng Yan (originally Pungyeon). Highlight will be on Soi and Feng Wan.

Soi's passive provides immunity to 5-men AOE damage skills, and this is really game-changing especially to Velika, Javes, Nia, MingMing, Ruri users. Having her in the team, all allies immune to 5-men AOE damage. One may wonder, how big of a difference with that passive? Most 5-men AOE damage ignores Defense for Burst team composition. This passive negates the damage and basically waste a turn on your burst potential unit. A must-have unit if you are suffering from getting One-Shot KO by Transcended Velika, Ruri and Javes. Another thing to note, Soi's Team will not be immune from the Crowd Control of the skills.
Basically, MingMing's AOE may paralyze Soi's Team.

Soi's Team Weakness: Backliner unit with 3-4men AOE damage capable of destroying Soi's Team and Soi is pretty squishy as well.
Also, this immunity to 5-Men AOE can be countered by Damage Penetration Skills

Feng Yan's notable strength comes from his immunity to all attacks for 3 turns and a single target skill with 600% magical damage output. He is capable of 1-Shot Unit such as Nia, Ruri, and other immune to physical damage units. Pretty good unit but we shall see how does he fare in the Arena meta in this patch.

Weakness to Feng Yan's Team: I am afraid with the available units, we are lacking on damage penetration skills. Therefore, Feng Yan will be a beast with 3 turn immunity to all attacks. Apply Crowd Control Skills on him and remove the immunity with Nia or Ruri or Rudy. Those who want to use Feng Wan, put Lucy into your team to remove the CC debuffs on him.

That is not all, there is a new repeat auto-play system which allows us to configure and spam unlimited keys. This is an excellent update and for those who are working and have been suffering from lagging behind others, fret not. This allow us to save time, spam through our stocked up 999 keys in just 1 day. Well Done, Netmarble. I expected this system to come in two months time, thankfully I was wrong.

To those busy players, now you can enjoy leveling your units with ease.

Here are some picture guide on how to configure.

Jewels Update!

This is the update that is going to hurt the F2P players. How come?

irst, let's take a look at where we can obtain them.

World 9 Stages and Cash Shop or Cash Packages.

In my opinion, Jewels worth buying using 20 rubies if you have transcended unit. If your unit is at lv30, you cannot equip the jewels! This is an important to note information.

P.S. You cannot equip both jewels with the same base stats such as Block rate 9% on blue Gem and Green Gem, you can only select one of them.

Make sure all 3 Gems are of different stats.

How significant is the difference with jewel on a unit?

I just PVP-ed a transcended Javes on 4-1 Defensive Formation. Guess what, he is unkillable. High Crit Chance Proc Lifesteal of 600 per autoattack and on Speed Weapons which proc Speed attacks and Counter Chance Armor. His team consist of MingMing, Evans, Lina and Velika. MingMing offers 3 turns of 50% block chance regardless of whether she is alive or dead. Immune to 50% magical damage, 50% defense up from Evans, immune to 50% physical damage from May and -25% Attack power from Lina's passive. With Lifesteal chance and burn damage + ignore defense Skills, He is basically: Terminator Seven Knight

High Speed, High Crit, High Counter and Lifesteal is the new meta especially on high auto attack and decent tankiness unit.

Hold our horses and let's wait a week to see the difference in Arena and Guild War.

Lastly, Celestial Tower 'Repeat' Function is back on-line. Developers finally fixed this bug.

Stay Tune for next upcoming post. Cheers & Happy Gaming!

Game Guide: Seven Knights (SENA) Prioritizing Heroes

Hey Hey, sup peeps!

Here is a little update on my Sena. I did another fusion again and BOOM! WUKONG! Yep, I got my Lords from Fusions and Daily Quest 3-6star hero rewards. Different players get different form of RNG I guess.

Let's test him out in Arena, shall we? Son Wukong carried me to Master Tier again! You have my gratitude, bud. SWAG Victory

I changed my Castle Rush's lineup to test Shane's damage output and it was surprisingly good with Lina, Alice, Victoria, and Rachel on Eileen's Easy Day.

First Guild War Pre-season 2 ended well with a crushing victory for us too! A great start to the season. Yay! Let's body these fools!

Got my waifus new costumes too! Rubies well spent. Somebody give the costume designer a cookie!

SENAs finally get another set of costume and I must say, Rudy's and Spike's pretty well made. My guildie mentioned about how he is not getting Jave's costume because he looks like a freaking gigolo with it. LOL

Alright, now let's get down to business, shall we? Here's a new post on my thoughts regarding prioritizing heroes in terms of transcending, unlocking to Gold and +5.

I notice a lot of players especially the lowbies having a hard time trying to focus on who to transcend, to unlock and stucked in low arena tiers for ages.

From my experience, new players will be further and further behind if you do not get your priorities right especially for those who can't enjoy with losing streaks in arena and guild war. Nobody likes to lose and it is insanely frustrating to keep losing.

First, let's take a look at your lineups. Who are your 5 main Arena Units. Yes, just 5. You have to pick now, decide and narrow down to 5 units. You do not have to own all 5 right now but at least 4 out of 5 to start off. Delonse, Ace, Wukong, Spike, and May? That is setting the bar a little too high isn't it? Let's be realistic, alright?

As I mention before, you have to consider the passives, mixture of magic and physical attackers and type of crowd control skills.

You can check common PVP meta under the Icon too.

Once you have decided, let's say May, Rudy, Nia, Alice and Velika and go for 1-4 Defensive formation. (make sure you have maxed out by now)

We have Earth, Fire, Light, Water and Dark Element units. You do not have to follow exactly, but for quick transcend and safe pick, this is the my suggested lineup in PVP. You can mix and match but the point is, narrow your main 5 units.

Then start to unlock your backline attacker unit with Weapon 2 slot.
Next, you can slowly unlock your squishy units for armor 2 slots. You need their passives for the team. It is okay to sacrifice early damage. After all, your main damage output comes from backline.

Units like Delonse and Ruri have base atk speed of 31 and 30 thus unlock weapon 2 slots immediately and equip double speed weapons for maximum efficacy.

Transcend highly dependent on the availability of heroes and RNG luck. If you manage to get similar unit, focus on transcending the unit first. I find it quite wasteful to spend rubies on package summonings when you have plenty of resources and units are not maxed out yet. Always transcend if you can and do the daily dungeons for more elements.
Quick tip: Re-run easy daily dungeon which costs 50 rubies/run for 2 star element.
It is way more cost effective. 100 rubies = 3star element as compared to 150 rubies on Normal Run.

The earlier you finish transcending instead of hoarding resources, the better you will fare in PVP and Guild War. After all, each max transcend yields 30 topazes in total and you secure a weekly income of rubies & topazes by climbing higher tier in arena. Clearing adventures and celestial towers without headache. This is much more efficient investment in terms of Gold, Rubies, Time, and Efforts from the player. Yes, I am promoting a healthy gaming lifestyle for both mental and physical. Lol

Happy Gaming, my fellow gamers. Until next time, Cheers!

Game Guide: Seven Knights (SENA) Transcend or New Sena?

Hey Guyssssss, it has been a very long time. I have been occupied with so many things. Chinese New Year is over too! I would like to wish everyone a prosperous and blessed year ahead! May you all be healthy, wealthy and life full of happiness.
Allow me to share some of the updates that has been going on with me in SENA.

Preseason 1 Guild War finally ended with our guild scoring 10 Wins, 5 Losses. Great Achievement and much better than we expected. Yay! (sadly, I did not manage to snapshot the stats)

Recent patch came and a lot of hype on Wukong!

Many were worried regarding how op and how game-breaking he will be in arena! Ha ha, thankfully, with decent AOE units such as Ruri and Velika or Hard CC units like Ming Ming and Nia+ Bolt, we can counter Wukong users in Arena. (that is only for lv30-lv32 Wukongs though as I am not sure if lv40 Lord will suffer that much of damage to be wiped out)

I have been very lucky to get hold on Wukong too after couple of 250rubies package summons though I got mine from daily quest 3-6 heroes ticket summon. RNGesus decided to give me regular units for all my rubies package summons. Most of the nicer units, I got hold of them via Daily Quest tickets 3-6* heroes or via fusions.

As I stressed before countless of times, NEVER LOSE HOPE as you may not know when but surely and eventually, you will be rewarded with nice units. As for those who are thinking, "Hey, that's what every player will say when they got their hands on cool units and lords". Trust me, I know how most of you guys feel and I had been there and done that too. I started off witnessing couple of my friends with OP RNG summons yielding SENA units, and my 6star fusions had been Jokers, Ice Queen Lania, Banes, and Knoxes. All I wanted to share with you guys here today is 'NEVER LOSE HOPE' in fusions and summons. Strive on. You will surely be rewarded.

Finally, MASTER TIER IN ARENA! A great achievement for F2P player!

Well, today I will be sharing some thoughts regarding Transcending Sena or get a new Sena. This has been the most FAQ of all century in all SENA servers.

Q1: Hey, what if my starter SENA is Spike, is he good to be transcended or should I get another SENA?

I find that having Spike at lvl30 is decent enough or at lesat for Arena players. His utility is his passive which provides 2 turns of immunity to CC and that's decent. However, there is 1 problem that I noticed from pvp-ing Spike Users which is Spike is a Double-Edge Sword Unit. Once he freezes opponents, those units cannot be targeted and that can pose a huge problem for AOE Attackers especially after Freeze over, skills will be in Cooldown. Verdict: ***

Q2:My starter SENA is Eileen, how well is she? Should I get another Sena to transcend?
I personally started out with Eileen and new users will not understand the pain of starting out with Eileen. No CC prior first SENA reworked and her utility is her passive offering 60% physical attack buff. She is great for transcending right now. There are some Eileen transcended at 4.3k Master Tier Arenas. She is good for dragon and Castle Rush too. Verdict: ****

Q3: My starter SENA is Kris, is he good enough for transcend?
I find kris rather underwhelming at the current patch as his passive heal crushed heavily by Ace users. Ace Aoe skill reduces healing capabilities 80%. I used him in 2.4-2.8k+ Arena rating. At higher tier, I find that lv30, lv32 and lv34 Kris still lose out to Delonse, Javes and Rudy sadly. Until the next rework which buffs him with zombie mode, his utility is low in Arena. He is a good to clear Celestial Tower floors though with his death debuff proc. Verdict: **

Q4: My starter SENA is Rachel, is she worth transcending?
As Rachel users, we have to take note of two important key focus to decide if she is worth transcending. Her utility in Arena is at most 2.4-2.8k+ rating as well. However, the key focus will be on whether your guild is capable of taking on Normal Mode Castle Rush and are you suffering from hitting high Castle Rush points? I don't advise you to transcend Rachel if your guild is not ready for Normal Mode and most of the members far from ready too. As for Single Carry Guild Member for the guild, Yes, she is worth transcending if your guild is at 3-4million for EASY CR. Verdict: ****

Q5: My starter SENA is Jave, is he worth transcending?

Jave is known is all servers as King of AOE and with coming rework, he will be more beastly than he already is with added piercing to his skill. He is useful for Celestial Tower floors too. Verdict: *****

Q6: My starter SENA is Delonse, is he worth transcending?

Well, Delonse is THE PVP meta sena right now with decent 25% damage boost to your allies, AOE silent CC and immunity to all damage for 2 turns. What else can you ask for from PVP based SENA? He is a great damage boost in Castle Rush, Dragon Raids too if you do not have Fordina's Empress Eileen Verdict: *****

Q7: My starter SENA is Rudy, is he worth transcending?

Yes. King of Defense. Turtle team Arena Strategy. Verdict: *****

Q8: What if I want to main another SENA instead of my starter?
Yes, you can do that but with the average bell curve Senas going towards nearer to lv36-lv40. This will hurt starter players in arena and finding it hard to climb up the tiers. My advise is to decide properly if you are looking for another SENA instead of your starter SENA and just purely focus on transcending him. A good Arena team needs 1 Sena, 1 Lord (if you are lucky to get your hands on one) and 3 Regular units fully transcended and unlocked.
